The Dasara celebrations in Mangaluru witnessed a star-studded event this year as Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt made an appearance, causing excitement among fans. Arriving on a private jet, Sanjay first visited the Kateel Durga Parameshwari temple to pay his respects. He then proceeded to the Biruver Kudla grounds to participate in the Oodhu Pooja, a ritual connected with the tiger dance, much to the delight of the crowd. Welcomed with enthusiastic cheers from fans referring to him as ‘Sanju Baba’, he expressed his happiness, stating, “I am thrilled to be in Mangaluru,” and commended the locals for their hospitality. Sanjay reassured fans about his well-being and shared his enthusiasm from watching the tiger dance performances. He also entertained the audience by reciting his famous Pachaas tola dialogue, which received a thunderous round of applause. His visit concluded with a visit to the Kudroli Gokarnath Temple before returning to Mumbai in time to offer condolences to the family of the late Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique.
